Little is known of Pauline Herzog except that she was presumably raised in New York City and confirmed on June 5, 1889.

Scope and Content Note

This collection is comprised of the confirmation book and the photo postcard. The book—published in 1872—is from the confirmation ceremony of Pauline Herzog on June 5, 1889. The book has prayers in both Hebrew and English and the photograph is in black and white of postcard size. The photo postcard—believed to be a photograph of Pauline Herzog—is undated. There is an inscription on the back which reads: “Am writing you a letter Am sending this with love to you as a valentine.”
