Scope and Content Note

This collection is comprised of a confirmation book and the photo postcard. The book —published in 1872 — is from the confirmation ceremony of Pauline Herzog on June 5, 1889. The book contains prayers in both Hebrew and English. The photo postcard—believed to be a photograph of Pauline Herzog—is undated. There is an inscription on the back which reads: “Am writing you a letter Am sending this with love to you as a valentine.”
