Scope and Content Note

Includes the minutes of meetings (1938-1958; 1961), synagogue mailing lists containing names of members as well as other Jews in Dorchester, financial records (1942-1954; 1961-1965), building fund accounts (1925-1931) and minutes and financial records of the Ladies Auxiliary (1927-1944), programs and announcements of various synagogue activities.

Of special interest are the Ladies Auxiliary activities during W.W. II in aiding European refugees and the synagogues endeavors during the late 1950's to stabilize the Jewish population in the Dorchester area.
