This collection includes the family bible of Jonas Altamont Phillips in which is recorded his birth, marriage, and death, and the same information for his children. Also included are two listings, in two different hands, of the births of the children of Jonas and Rebecca Machado Phillips - grandparents of Jonas Altamont Phillips. Newspaper clippings describing the marriage of Ellen Phillips, a daughter of Jonas A. Phillips, are also included.
