Israel Levine
Israel Levine was a well known Hebrew teacher, poet and Yiddish writer from Malden, Massachusetts.

This collection contains Yiddish and Hebrew publications, manuscripts, poetry, biblical commentary and correspondence. There are also translations of works by Samuel Joseph Agnon (Yiddish), Abraham Reisin (Hebrew) and Saul Tchernichovski (Yiddish.) Correspondence relates primarily to his writings and personal matters. The collection is almost entirely in Yiddish and Hebrew, with the exception of a small folder of English correspondence and a letter regarding the provenance of the collection.
