Scope and Content Note

The bulk of this collection consists of correspondence, including letters from Carl Zuckmayer, Andreas Latzko, Ernst Haeckel, and Maximilian Harden. The remaining materials include various family papers, photographs, and a couple of short manuscripts, especially on the history of the German publishing trade and the firm Ullstein. Finally, a few photocopied family trees compiled by Michael Berolzheimer are included in the last folder.
