Scope and Content Note

This collection contains materials regarding Salomon Frankfurter including writings by and about him, as well as newspaper clippings, obituaries, a photograph, articles and notes for his 70th and 80th birthdays.

The bulk of the collection consists of Frankfurter's writings, both books and articles. A couple of the books present in the collection feature Frankfurter's handwritten dedications, and their topics are historical and biographical. Other writings by Frankfurter include articles in newspapers, newsletters, and journals, and like the books they tend to concern historical and biographical topics. The only other items in the collection are a handful of personal papers, including the aforementioned congratulatory notes as well as Frankfurter's birth certificate and wedding invitation.
